Gomme

This project stems from images, videos, and sounds I recorded and then archived, forgotten and lost within my data, which are now resurfacing like recovered memories.
Images of a birthday cake, a spinning clay sculpture, a landscape, and a train endlessly crossing a track I loved to watch blend with accordion music played by a street performer in Barcelona, a birthday melody I recorded when I was fifteen, train sounds that cut in and out and repeat, and birdsong.
Multiple cuts, repetitions, speed variations, and overlays echo a memory that is altered and confused, one that every thought disrupts.
