Circuit Bending

Circuit bending experimentation.
After finding an abandoned toy piano, I took it apart and tried to understand how it worked. This allowed me to modify the existing electronic circuit, for instance, by adding a potentiometer to vary the resistance.
The modifications I made allowed me to alter the piano's sound (variable pitch via the potentiometer).

This conceptual work questions the fate of objects that are purchased and then abandoned, as well as current patterns of consumption and overproduction, giving this child's piano a second life.
