Databending

A series of photographs modified via databending: the original images were imported into the audio processing software Audacity and subsequently altered by modifying the resulting waveform (adding effects, making cuts, and shifting sections).
Through this process, the photographs take on a different appearance, questioning their logical construction and the possibilities opened up by their digital nature.
